GEORGIA, VT -- RPM Motorsports is proud to announce its new primary sponsor; Harrison Concrete Inc. & Redi-Mix Corp. to the RPM Motorsports organization. The Harrison Family, long-time supporters of New England Stock Car Racing has decided to team-up with RPM Motorsports for a run at the 2016 American-Canadian Tour Championship.
The Harrison name has been seen on local stock cars in years past. More recently that of Brad Leighton’s and Jean-Paul Cyr’s rides in recent years. RPM Team Owner and Crew Chief, Rick Paya is excited to have Harrison Concrete & Redi-Mix on his no. 37vt ACT Late Model for 2016. “Things are really coming together for the 2016 season, to bring in Harrison Concrete who are passionate about racing and their local community is really a great thing.” says Paya. “The RPM team is excited to get the season started and proud to represent Harrison Concrete on and off the track”.
Crew Member Dustin Deavitt, a third season member of the RPM Motorsports team has seen the great support that the Harrison Concrete Family brings to local racing first hand as he worked with Jean-Paul Cyr the couple seasons that Cyr’s 32vt Late Model displayed the Harrison Concrete & Redi-Mix name. When asked about his thoughts he noted, “I have seen the Harrison Family in action, not only on the track but also on the business side, working as a Manager at a local construction company I have worked with Harrison Concrete many times. They provide superior workmanship in a timely manner, they support local Vermont events, Charities and love local racing as much as all of us here at RPM."
The upcoming season kicks off the weekend of April 9th in Lee, NH and the Harrison Family is excited to see the RPM Motorsports 37vt take to the track sporting the Harrison Concrete & Redi-Mix name, when asked why Harrison Concrete decided to team up with RPM Motorsports Kathy Harrison replied, “It was one of those things that just made sense, my brother [Kevin] and I went up to RPM’s race shop and toured the facility and it was apparent that RPM ran a very professional organization with a dedicated leadership. Secondly, the Harrison culture is to support local events, charities and organizations, Harrison Concrete is based in Georgia, Vermont and so is RPM Motorsports.” “Our family has sponsored several teams in years prior and like any sponsor we would like to see “our” car win a Championship and we feel RPM gives us a chance at that goal.”
